THREE POSITION ADVANTAGE

The inward swinging tilt and turn window is operated with only one handle for an easy to use 3-position operation.

In the closed position multi-locking points ensure safety as well as an airtight fit of the weather strip system, keeping unwanted guests and the weather outside where they belong.

For daytime ventilation the window can be tilted in. This position allows gentle air movement, venting from the top of the window, but still provides security against intruders.

The turn position (also inward opening) allows maximum ventilation quickly, and easy cleaning of the exterior surface of the glass.

SPECIFICATION
Operation Single or multiple sash open inward for ventilation and cleaning.  The hinge mechanism provides two separate actions, bottom hung for gentle ventilation and side hung for full ventilation and cleaning
Security The dual action hinge mechanism operates as tilt before turn.  This allows the sash to be secured in the tilt position against intruders for safe and reliable ventilation when desired
Thermal and Operational Performance The concealed, full compression weatherstrip provides an uninterupted seal, and the multi-point locking mechanism holds the sash in perfect contact with the frame.  The interior crank handle makes this the easiest of all casement window designs to operate.  Performance testing is underway to certify this design as Energystar Qualified
Frame Construction Heavy duty 12/4 x 2 5/8″ frame section with optional jamb extension to suit any opening depth
Thermal Glazing (TG) Standard sash accept 20mm sealed units.  Optional glazing thicknesses available up to 25mm.  Sterling TG tilt and turn design perfectly suited for  triple glazing if required.  Thermal units secured with bevelled wood glazing stop.
